This chic, retro Charleston elopement will have you wanting to run off to the chapel to elope in this charming coastal city! From the adorable pink retro car to the stunning downtown chapel, you will definitely be considering Charleston as an elopement location (if you aren’t already!).

Located in South Carolina, Charleston is a port city rich in history and culture. It’s known for its cobblestone streets, pastel houses, and southern charm. Due to these romantic features, Charleston is a popular wedding destination. Many celebrity weddings have taken place in Charleston, including Blake Lively to Ryan Reynolds and Justin Bieber to Haley Baldwin. But of course, it’s a great wedding spot even for those who aren’t rich and famous!

If you are looking for a place to elope that gives you beautiful architecture, dreamy beach sunsets, and delicious Southern food, then Charleston is for you! Downtown Charleston is one of the best places to elope since it has endless picturesque streets and areas to explore, including Rainbow Row (a street lined with pastel-colored houses). In addition to Downtown, there’s Ravenel Waterfront Park, Isle of Palms Beach, and Folly Beach. Any of these would be beautiful at sunset or sunrise! If you go a little further off the coast, there’s the luxurious island of Kiawah. But no matter what location you choose in Charleston, you will surely have a romantic place to say “I do.”
