The Ridge Asheville is the perfect venue for your summer wedding! If you want to get married with the North Carolina mountains as your backdrop, this place is everything you’ve been dreaming of. It’s such a romantic setting to get married surrounded by all your family and friends. From getting ready to celebrating at your reception, there’s a space for you!

The Ridge Asheville

The Ridge is a French and Spanish-inspired venue near Asheville, North Carolina. It’s home to North Carolina’s Blue Ridge Mountains – the perfect backdrop for your wedding day! This wedding venue offers both stunning mountain views and beautiful architecture, giving you the best of both worlds!

The venue has three spaces for you to use on your wedding day – The Residence (getting ready), The Knoll (ceremony), and The Chateau (reception). Using the different spaces at the same venue for every part of your wedding day, rather than traveling between locations throughout the day, makes it much easier and less stressful. Before we get to all the dreamy inspo, let me break these spaces down in more detail!

The Residence

The Residence is a 3-story house with plenty of space for your entire bridal party to get ready. Plus, there’s a “Groomsmen Cave” for your partner and groomsmen to get ready. They even offer breakfast and lunch catering that they bring directly to you. So you don’t have to think about those logistics while you’re getting ready. The Ridge has thought of every last detail to make your wedding day as seamless as possible!

The Knoll

The Knoll is the ceremony location on the property, which seats up to 250 people. Another way the venue makes logistics a bit easier is that they include ceremony chairs in your rental. This is my favorite space at The Ridge because it has unobstructed, panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains! In addition to a ceremony location, this is a great spot for your couple’s portraits. Sunset here is an absolute dream!

The Chateau

The Chateau is a reception space inspired by French and Spanish architecture. It can hold up to 250 people for a cocktail-style reception and 175 people for a seated reception. Despite being an indoor space, you still have stunning views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. This is such a romantic space to celebrate all night long!

Micro-Weddings & Elopements

In addition to being a large-scale wedding venue, they offer different rental packages for micro-weddings and elopements. They are available to book year-round, Monday to Thursday. The Ridge considers 50 people or less to be a micro-wedding. Each package includes 5 hours of ceremony and reception time, unlimited alcohol, food, staff, equipment, and décor. So, if you’re considering an intimate wedding celebration, the Ridge is a lovely venue!

Kelsey and Hank did a first look on their wedding day! By choosing to do a first look, it allowed us to get lots of dreamy wedding portraits before the ceremony. They even exchanged private vows before the ceremony! This is a great way to have a private moment together before the day gets busy with celebrations.
